The important small print — written in plain English, not legalese.
Everything on this site is written from personal experience. I am not a doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist, therapist, or any kind of medical professional. Nothing here should be taken as medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
If you think you or your child may have ADHD, or if you're struggling with anything described on this site, please speak to a qualified healthcare professional — your GP is a good starting point.
The strategies, tips, and resources I share are things that have worked for me or my family. They may not work for you, and that's completely okay. Every person's experience of ADHD is different.
I take your privacy seriously, and I want to be straightforward about what this site does and doesn't do with your information.
This site does not currently collect any personal data directly. There are no sign-up forms, no user accounts, and no comment sections.
If you email me at hello@ourwavelength.co.uk, I will receive your email address and the contents of your message. I'll only use that to reply to you — I won't add you to any list or share it with anyone.
This site may use basic analytics tools (such as Google Search Console) to understand how many people visit and which pages are popular. This does not identify you personally. If I add more detailed analytics in future, I'll update this policy and add an appropriate notice.
This site does not currently use cookies. If that changes, I'll let you know clearly and give you the option to manage your preferences.
This site contains links to external websites — Amazon, ADHD UK, Reddit, and others. Once you leave this site, their privacy policies apply, not this one. I'd encourage you to check their policies if you're concerned.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask what personal data I hold about you, to request its deletion, and to raise concerns with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). If you have any questions, email me at hello@ourwavelength.co.uk.
Currently, none of the links on this site are affiliate links — I don't earn anything if you click through and buy a book or sign up for a tool. Everything recommended is something I genuinely use or have found helpful.
If that ever changes, I'll say so clearly on the relevant page. Transparency matters to me.
All written content on this site is my own. You're welcome to quote from it with attribution and a link back, but please don't reproduce it wholesale without asking first.
